November Favourites.

Hey everyone,

I know its pretty cliché to say this but another monthly favourites already? Wow! I know I did my October favourites a little bit late but still, I can’t get over how fast November flew by. I love November, in my mind it’s the start to the build-up of Christmas when all the big adverts get released, we start seeing decorations going up in shops and all of the town/city Christmas lights have their big annual switch on. Christmas is without a doubt my favourite time of year, so I am so ready for December and to get started with all the festivities, Christmas markets and everything else CHRISTMAS! But first, here is what I was loving throughout the month of November.

Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Definer

I bought this product from Beauty Bay at the end of October and I have fallen in love. I had used the brow whiz before but it practically fell apart and the packaging just started to crumble so I was so upset I paid £15 for it. I have always used powders for my brows, but I decided to try the brow definer as I know that’s what a lot of beauty guru’s such as Jaclyn Hill use and I haven’t been let down with this one. It has a spooly on one end and the product on the other and is so easy to use to get your brows looking neat and as even as possible. I will definitely be repurchasing this product, I can’t imagine going back to a powder product now. I would be interested to know if there are any good dupes for this product so please let me know!

Jeffree Star Velour Liquid Lipstick – Androgony

I love Jeffree Star Cosmetics. I use his skin frost highlighters every single day and his liquid lipstick formula is one of the best I have ever tried. Throughout November I found myself reaching for the shade Androgony a lot. It’s a rich blushed mauve shade and it’s so pretty. With it being a slightly darker shade it’s perfect for autumn and I always receive questions/compliments when I wear it. Im desperate to get a couple of shades from his holiday collection.

Batiste Dry Shampoo – Rose Gold

I’m one of those girls who can’t live without dry shampoo. I don’t wash my hair every day so on the days where I don’t wash it I like to spray a little bit of dry shampoo in it just to keep it looking clean and not so flat. I came across the Batiste Rose Gold dry shampoo in Superdrug and to be honest when I saw the words ‘Rose Gold’ I was sold (sad I know). I do love it. It’s got such a nice scent to it, nothing too strong, and it leaves my hair smelling nice and looking a bit more presentable! You do need to hold it away from your head at a certain distance and rub it in really well to avoid your hair looking a bit white/grey though!

Sleek Solstice Highlighter Palette

Who else remembers when this was all people could talk about? For the right reasons for sure! The highlighters in this palette are absolutely blinding. I rediscovered this at the bottom of my drawer when I was playing with makeup for my graduation and I have been using it ever since. I don’t usually touch the cream shade but I do between the three powder shades all the time, just depends on how I’m feeling that day!

Walks with Albus

Finally, after waiting about 5 weeks for his immunisation jabs to fully work, November was the month we were allowed to take Albus out for walkies – yay!! He’s ready to conquer the world. It was so hard waiting to walk him for so long but we couldn’t risk him getting poorly. He’s been loving his walks and meeting other people and dogs. He’s been to the woods, he’s been to the beach, and he’s been to Mount Edgcumbe so many times as it’s so close to where we live. Walking with a puppy is hard work because not only is he still learning how to walk on a lead, but EVERYONE who walks by wants to say hello and make a fuss of him. It’s good because it teaches him to socialise and behave around others, but means getting round the park takes twice as long haha! But he is the most beautiful boy so I can’t blame them!

The Vampire Diaries

I have heard SO much about this series but never thought about watching it, which I suppose when I think about it is silly because I have always loved vampire themed movies such as Twilight! My sister recently started watching it and I have also had so many friends telling me I would love it. Well I succumbed to the peer pressure and did it.. I’m hooked! It’s so good, I can’t stop watching it. It’s got such a good story line to it, and its so eerie and spooky and in some cases scary which keeps you on the edge of your seat. Stephan and Damon are GORGEOUS. I am so glad people kept telling me to watch it because now I can’t imagine not watching it. Josh likes it too so that causes less arguments on what to watch haha! The only problem is I’m now having to avoid spoilers the best I can because I’ve been slow to jump on the band wagon!

Animal Crossing Pocket Camp

I was so excited when I saw tweets about an animal crossing app circulating twitter. I used to play animal crossing on my Nintendo ds and Wii almost everyday with my sister, we were hooked! The same has happened with this. The graphics are amazing on, and it’s everything I had hoped. Some features are different to how I remember but I didn’t think it would be completely the same! I just think its such a good idea. People are bound to play it because it’s always been so popular and I am completely hooked just like I thought I would be! Have you guys been playing? What do you think?

That’s all I have been loving throughout November, what have you guys been loving? Thanks for reading!
